The services of a good Travel Agent can be invaluable in terms of helping you save time and money, avoid pitfalls, and make the best informed decisions for your vacation.  As with any other professional service, there are fees associated with providing you a customized service.

Travel Agents are paid through a combination of commissions from their suppliers (hotels, tour companies, cruise lines, etc) and service fees from their clients.  The types and amount of fees we charge vary by the complexity and length of your trip.  Our goal is to be as transparent with our fees in order to avoid any "hidden" fees.  

Travel Booking Services

If your trip is pretty straight forward and you're looking to book through us in order to leverage our discounted rates and added amenities, there is no charge to you.  This would include the following types of bookings: 

  • All-Inclusive resorts
  • Cruises
  • Vacation Packages (Some Combination of Hotel, Air, Rental Car) 
  • General Tours
  • Hotel-only Bookings

General travel advice or suggestions are included for free as well.  For example, if you know you want to go on a cruise but need advice as to which cruise line to book or want to visit an all-inclusive but don't know where to go, I will be glad to discuss your options.  

Tailored Trip Planning

The fees for Full-Service trip planning vary on several factors such as trip complexity, length of vacation and how far in advance prior to your trip we're contacted.  This service is popular with "FITs" (Foreign Independent Travelers).  FITs are travelers that avoid mass tourism and traditional travel operators in favor of more individualistic approach and authentic experience.

Due to the time and effort required to plan a customized trip, fees are due before delivery of initial proposal and are non-refundable.  This is a one-time charge so even if we continue to go back and forth and tweak the itinerary in order to make it perfect, there are no additional planning fees. 

This consulting fee is charged regardless if a client decides not to move forward with booking their trip.

Airline Ticketing & Flight Research

Airline Ticketing

If you would like us to ticket your flights, we charge the following administrative fees:  

  • Domestic Flights- $25/person
  • International Flights- $35/person 

Flight Research

A lot of time can be spent on research when attempting to book an international flight itinerary.  It can become a very daunting task when you begin to book multi-city or multi-country trips. Allow us to do the research and determine if flying into specific cities can save you additional time and money.  We will also advise you on the different logistics options you have when traveling between countries in places such as Europe.  

  • $50 per itinerary

 Frequent Flyer Award Ticket Bookings

Do you have a stash of frequent flyer miles but don't know how to use them for your trip?  Allow me to use my knowledge to research and determine what options you have in order to take advantage of your frequent flyer miles. I've booked several flights using miles including multiple trips to Europe, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and within the continental U.S.

  • $75 per booking (You will only be charged this research fee if I'm successful in finding available award space.)
